The Wildberries sales report: how to read and reconcile it

The blocks that make up the WB sales report, why the amount payable is lower than your revenue, what ends up in other deductions and how to reconcile the report line by line.

The sales report is the seller's main financial document on Wildberries: it shows what was sold, how much the platform withheld and why the amount that landed in your bank account is not the one you expected. Here is the structure of the report, its key lines and the order in which to reconcile it.

What this report is and where it lives

The sales report is the only document where sales and deductions come together
The sales report is the only document where sales and deductions come together

The report is generated per settlement period and shows the movement behind every sale: price, discounts, commission, logistics, returns, penalties and other deductions. This document — not the sales summary in the interface — is the basis for your payout.

You will find it in the seller account under Balance → Financial reports, the Weekly tab: reports by week, while the printable forms (the Weekly Sales Report, and for buyouts a Buyout Notice) appear in the documents section a few days after the reporting week ends. Your accountant needs the same document for postings and tax (seller taxes, accounting for sellers).

What it consists of

Sales, deductions, returns, net amount payable

The columns in the report carry the platform's own wording — go by those, not by the everyday names:

  • "Wildberries sold the goods (Pr)" — the amount the goods were sold to the customer for, including the seller's discounts and the SPP platform discount.
  • "Payable to the Seller for goods sold" — what is left after the platform's fee: Wildberries commission for sellers.
  • "Logistics cost" — delivery to the customer and the return leg for uncollected orders: WB logistics cost.
  • "Storage cost" — the fee for warehouse space: storage cost.
  • "Receiving operations" — inbound shipment handling: WB receiving coefficient.
  • "Total penalties" and other deductions — this is also where adjustments for earlier periods land, the single most common reason the numbers do not add up.
  • "Total payable" — the result after all deductions; returns appear as separate lines flagged as returns (returns on Wildberries).

How to reconcile the report: the order of work

Reconciliation goes line by line, not by the bottom-line figure
Reconciliation goes line by line, not by the bottom-line figure
  1. Check the quantities. Units sold in the report against your own shipment and stock data.
  2. Check the selling price. It must match the price at the moment of sale, promotions included.
  3. Recalculate the commission for your category — a discrepancy in the percentage shows up immediately.
  4. Break down the logistics. Anomalies usually come from uncollected orders and dimensions that changed after re-measurement.
  5. Find the "other" lines. Adjustments and compensations have to be explained down to the rouble.
  6. Record the discrepancies and file a ticket quoting the report number: reconciliation with the marketplace, marketplace support for sellers.

The full mechanics of payouts and their timing are in the Wildberries payouts guide, and what quietly leaks away is covered in hidden deductions.

FAQ

"Where do I download the sales report on Wildberries?" In the seller account: Balance → Financial reports, the Weekly tab — pick the period and open the report; the spreadsheet exports from there too. The printable forms sit in the documents section.

"Why is the amount in the report lower than my sales total?" Because commission, logistics, storage, receiving, returns and penalties are deducted from the revenue. The gap between "sold" and "received" is exactly what working through the platform costs.

"What is the weekly sales report?" That is its official name — the Weekly Sales Report: a document covering the reporting week, on the basis of which the payout is calculated. Platform buyouts get a separate report with their own notice. The publication schedule can shift because of public holidays.

"How do I check the report for errors?" Reconcile line by line: quantities, selling price, commission percentage, logistics and the "other" deductions. Discrepancies are raised as a ticket referencing the report number.

"Does my accountant need this report?" Yes. The seller's income is the full amount the customer paid, not what arrived in the bank account; the report is the primary document for recording revenue and expenses.
